All of our unique cow skins are imported direct from South America where they have undergone chrome tanning techniques to ensure they retain their colour and suppleness. Every cow hide is unique; completely individual in feel, shape and appearance. Cowhides, or hair on hides as they are sometimes called, can be used as rugs to create a feeling of warmth and luxury to any room setting, using a single cowhide, or even several of the cow skins overlapping each other, they can be used as contemporary cow skin wallhangings or even throws. We offer three basic sizes, although these vary slightly from cowhide to cow hide. Please note that the measurement guidelines below are maximum external points and that each cowhide can vary in proportion. Some minor scars may be visible on some of the cow hides, but these add to the character and authenticity.
