Our range of cow rugs has been carefully selected to offer the best possible quality cow skins at the best possible price. All of our cow rugs are imported direct from Argentina in South America where they have undergone chrome tanning techniques to ensure that the cow skins retain their colour and suppleness. Every cow rug is unique; completely individual in feel, shape and appearance. Cowhides, or hair on hides as they are sometimes called, can be used as rugs, wallhangings or throws. We offer three basic sizes, although these vary slightly from cowhide to cow hide. The cowhide on offer here is from one of the oldest British Breeds, that has been around since the 17th century, this breed of cow has proved so popular that it is now favoured worldwide for it's striking skin, the cow skins are predominantly a rich warm chestnut colour with striking, bold white patches around the outside edges, making this cow skin ideal to sit in any room whether it is modern or slightly more traditional. 

Please note that the measurement guidelines below are maximum external points and that each cowhide can vary in proportion. Some minor scars may be visible on some hides, but these add to the character and authenticity.
