All of our oak coffee tables are hand made and so individual and unique. With this style we have used 9" x 5" (23 x 13cm) beams for the bases and 9" x 2.5" (23 x 6cm) solid oak boards for the top. Dependent on the temperature of the home and the dryness of the air the oak beams may crack and split further to add extra character to the table. This table has been stained dark oak and has a hard wax finish.Whether you consider it to be a modern and contemporary table or a more rustic alternative it will enhance your living room regardless of your design scheme. It is available in 2 different standard lengths but we are able to make almost any size you wish; just contact us for a price. This modern coffee table also looks effective, if a larger size is needed, as a 3 board version.

Please note that the knots, shakes and splits are an integral part of the design and further splitting may occur in the months ahead. Because of the weight of these pieces, and to make it easier for shipping and moving, we despatch unassembled, the top boards merely locate onto pegs fixed in the base beams of the coffee table.
