All of our solid oak coffee tables are hand made and so are individual and unique. With this more traditional style we have used 9" x 5" (23 x 13cm) oak beams for the bases and 9" x 2.5" (23 x 6cm) solid oak boards for the top. Whether your room setting is modern and contemporary, rustic or verging on the more traditional the nature of these solid oak blocks makes this the ideal living room table. Dependent on the temperature of the home and the dryness of the air the oak may crack and split further to add extra character to the oak table. This table has been stained medium oak and has a hard wax finish. It is available in 2 different standard lengths but we are able to make almost any size you wish; just contact us for a price. This style also looks effective, if a larger size is needed, as a 3 oak board version.

Please note that the knots, shakes and splits are an integral part of the design and further splitting may occur in the months ahead. Because of the weight of the solid oak tables, and to make it easier for shipping and moving, we despatch unassembled, the top boards merely locate onto pegs fixed in the base beams of the coffee table.
