All of our solid oak coffee tables are hand made and so individual and unique, this modern, contemporary coffee table would brighten up any modern day interior whether it be chic and modern or more traditionalist. With this style we have used 9" x 5" (23 x 13cm) oak beams for the bases and 9" x 2.5" (23 x 6cm) solid oak boards for the top. Dependent on the temperature of the home and the dryness of the air the oak may crack and split further to add extra character to the solid wood coffee table. This oak table has a clear hard wax finish. It is available in 2 different standard sizes but we are able to make almost any size you wish; just contact us for a price. This style also looks effective, if a larger size is needed, as a 4 oak board version.

Please note that the knots, shakes and splits are an integral part of the design and further splitting may occur in the months ahead. Because of the weight of these oak coffee tables, and to make it easier for shipping and moving, we despatch unassembled, the top boards merely locate onto pegs fixed in the base beams of the coffee table.
