All of our solid oak coffee tables are hand made and so are individual and unique. With this solid oak version of coffee table we have used 9" x 5" (23 x 13cm) oak beams for the bases and 9" x 2.5" (23 x 6cm) solid oak boards for the top. Dependent on the temperature of the home and the dryness of the air the oak beams may crack and split further to add extra character to the table. This solid oak table has a clear hard wax finish, and would stylishly sit with any colour scheme and interior, whether you require a traditional coffee table that is both practical and harmonious, or a modern, contemporary centrepiece, this solid oak coffee table would not look out of place. It is available in 2 different standard sizes but we are able to make almost any size you wish; just contact us for a price. This style also looks effective, if a larger size is needed, as a 4 oak board version.

Please note that the knots, shakes and splits are an integral part of this solid oak design and further splitting may occur in the months ahead. Because of the weight of these solid oak tables, and to make it easier for shipping and moving, we despatch unassembled, the top boards merely locate onto pegs fixed in the base beams of the coffee table.
