Caring for Your Home Furnishings
Faux Fur Throws, Cushion Covers & Pet Blankets
Because of the nature of faux fur, you may notice a small amount of loose fibres when your item first arrives. This is completely normal and can usually be reduced by giving the item a gentle shake or a light vacuum.
Smaller faux fur items, such as cushion covers and pet blankets, may be washable. However, we strongly recommend dry cleaning only for all faux fur throws. Larger throws are especially heavy when wet and can be difficult to handle, potentially causing damage to domestic washing machines.
If a faux fur item is suitable for washing, always use the coolest and most delicate machine setting, with a medium spin and a mild detergent designed for delicates. Allow items to dry naturally on a flat surface. Do not tumble dry, iron, or apply heat, as this can damage the fibres. Washable items may also be hand washed. While still slightly damp, gently brush the fur with a soft brush to help restore the pile.
During transit, faux fur items can sometimes become creased or flattened. These usually settle naturally after a few days once the item is opened out. For more stubborn creases, lay the item flat, place a damp towel over the affected area for around an hour, then gently brush the fibres into place and allow to dry naturally.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused if care instructions are not followed. Additional guidance can be found on individual product pages.

Tartan & Fleece Throws and Fleece Pet Blankets
Tartan and fleece throws and blankets can be machine washed at 30°C using a mild detergent. As fleece dries quickly, we recommend letting items air dry either folded or laid flat to reduce creasing.
If ironing fleece is needed, place a damp cloth over the fabric and iron gently on a cool setting. Tartan throws should be ironed on a cool setting on the tartan side only, not on the fleece reverse.

Printed Velvet Throws & Cushion Covers
Our printed velvet is digitally printed on 100% polyester fabric. These items can be spot cleaned, hand washed, or machine washed on a delicate cycle at no more than 30°C, using a mild detergent. Allow to dry naturally only and do not tumble dry. Cool iron if required.

Seat Pads
Seat pads are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, but they are not waterproof. If a spill occurs, sponge the area straight away using clean warm water and a gentle detergent, then allow to dry naturally. Do not machine wash or dry clean seat pads.

Cowhide Rugs
Cowhide rugs are easy to care for and, when looked after properly, can last a lifetime. They are not designed for high-traffic areas, as frequent footfall will cause hair loss over time.
From time to time, take your rug outside and gently shake it to remove loose hairs. Light vacuuming is fine, but please take care around the edges. Cowhides should not be allowed to get wet. If a spill occurs, dab the area immediately with warm water and a mild detergent, then leave to dry naturally. Do not wash, dry clean, or use chemical cleaners unless advised by a professional.

Sheepskin Rugs
Try to keep sheepskin rugs dry wherever possible. If they do become wet, allow them to dry naturally. To keep the pile looking its best, brush gently using a soft brush or wide-tooth comb.
If dirt or soil appears, allow it to dry before brushing out. For spills, dab gently with a damp cloth and mild wool detergent. We strongly recommend dry cleaning only. If you choose to machine wash, use a wool cycle at no more than 30°C with a mild wool detergent. Dry flat naturally and brush gently while still damp. Please note that the leather backing may stiffen if washed, and we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by machine washing.

Reindeer Skin Rugs
Every so often, take your rug outside and gently shake it to remove dust. If vacuuming is needed, use a brush attachment very gently.
Avoid placing reindeer rugs near heat sources such as fires or radiators, as this can dry out the hide and cause hairs to become brittle. We strongly recommend dry cleaning only. Reindeer hides are not suitable for high-traffic areas, and regular use will cause hairs to break off over time.
